A Customise Tour of Angkor and its surrounding area. Existing Day Tour which have been changed or altered.
Today's ride is all about getting beyond the norm, beyond Angkor and into real Cambodia. Leaving the hotel early in the morning we make our way through the eastern part of the Angkor park, visiting numerous small temples along the way to our first stop.
By mid-morning we will arrive Banteay Srei for a visit. This temple is distinct due to the pinkish hue of the red sandstone and the intricacy of the carvings. From here, we continue on a shaded section of road to reach Kbal Spean. Lunch will be ready when we arrive and after some time to digest, we will take a tour of the ACCB Wildlife Conservation Center. Here we see enormous birds, cheeky langur monkeys, gibbons and more, and we can often hear hornbills overhead. From here, we take the walk up to the waterfall where we can see the Hindu carvings in the sandstone riverbed. A full day concludes with an hour-long drive back to Siem Reap town and to your hotel or guesthouse. You may view the town through different eyes having enjoyed the countryside.
